A real estate development firm will be in charge of  the construction of the new DMV service center in Grand Island.

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. - A real estate development firm will be in charge of  the construction of the new DMV service center in Grand Island.

 

According to a news release, the state selected White Lotus Group as the developer for the DMV project. The center will be located at 3529 South Locust St. near the South Locust St. Walmart. 

The 12,000 square-foot center will feature eight service counters. It will offer a range of services including written exam testing, driver’s license testing, CDL vehicle inspection area and a motorcycle skills test area. 

Chief Construction is the general contractor and White Lotus Group will manage the property. 

Construction is set to begin this month and is estimated to be completed in late summer of 2025.
